His research is in the areas of citizen involvement in administrative decision-making and environmental policy. Ken is currently Chief Operations Officer and Partner at A.L. Insurance Group, Inc. Ken’s interest in DBCC is rooted in his concern not only for his own children but for the youth of Clark County in general.

Clark County Commissioner

Steve Stuart, who grew up in Ridgefield, Washington, was appointed as a county commissioner in December 2004. Prior to that, he worked as the Executive Director of Urban Reserve, a wetlands conservation bank.  He also worked for Friends of Clark County as Executive Director at the state and local level, working with neighborhoods, businesses, and environmental groups.

Her community involvement includes: Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Dream Big Community Center, Evergreen School District Advisory Panel, Leadership Clark County, Willamette Valley Development Officers Advisory Panel, Community Military Appreciation Committee, and Health Equity Coalition.
