Great Community Support

On Saturday, June 16 the great northwest provided a beautiful day to enjoy one another and have fun. Clark County and Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation dedicated  Luke Jensen Sports Park, a $9.1 million multipurpose facility with synthetic and natural grass fields for baseball, soccer and other sports.

The sports park hosted the Salmon Creek Little League Championship game, and a celebrity kickball game featuring teams captained by Clark County Commissioner Steve Stuart and Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt. During the kickball game, Portland Trail Blazer Jerom Kersey and Portland Timbers U-23 players came out and showed their support. The event raised $2,800 for Dream Big!

A huge thank you to all the sponsors: Al Angelo Co., Comcast Corp., Erik Runyan Jewelers, Main Event Sports Grill, Northwest Personal Training, Athlete’s Corner, Smokey’s Hot Oven Pizza, Thompson Metal Fab, Treat Vancouver, Vesta Hospitality and Waste Connections. Also a big thanks to the players from the Dream Team and Team Big!
